One of the greatest time-wasters in the history of the internet is gone, and we can all get back to our lives now. Wired ran a piece this morning explaining (to the extent that Google would tell them anything) how the instant classic April Fools Day stunt came to be, and the designer behind the project mentioned that, "it wouldn't be an April Fools 'prank' if it were to stay around forever." Sure enough, the option has now disappeared as if it never even existed. Goodbye, dear friend.
