While ski areas in the west are closing early, in Vermont the lifts are still spinning. Killington has promised to remain open until June, Okemo Mountain is likely pushing their planned April 19 closing day back, and even nordic centers like the Trapp Family Lodge and Ski Center in Stowe remain open with 50 kilometers of ski trails.
