When Argentinian street artist Marina Zumi was contacted by Germany's All You Can Paint Festival about a lack of participation among artists this year, she decided she had to take part. It took Zumi 12 days to transform an otherwise drab building in Halle into a bright, almost celestial honeycomb. Dubbed "Honeycomb of Life," the artist notes bees behave similarly to humans and even refers to the building's inhabitants as "bee people."
Check out the transformation below and head to Zumi's Instagram for more of her colorful, nature-inspired mural work.
