South Korea May Be Late to the High Line Game, But It's Making Up for Lost Time

Manhattan's High Line Park may have started the whole public-park-on-an-abandoned-elevated-rail-line trend, inspiring a flood of other elevated parks in cities around the world, but as South Korea's just-revealed version displays, if you can't be early to the game at least you can be really, really pretty. The Seoul Skygarden, as it is being called, to be designed by Dutch firm MVRDV, will feature 254 species of trees, shrubs and flowers on a long stretch of elevated roadway.
