One of our favorite summer destinations, Telluride, Colorado, throws down when it comes to festivals. And while 4-day passes to the Telluride Bluegrass Festival sold out months ago (there are a few single-day passes left), another great pick for picking in the high country is the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival from September 18-20. The just-announced lineup features ZZ Top, Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, Greg Allman, and the Taj Mahal Trio, but to really appreciate the musical depth of this festival, you need to see the whole list. What else can you expect besides an electric mix of tunes? How about beer from the top microbreweries in the country, a variety of food and craft vendors, late night jams, and even a whole slew of activities for the kiddos.
