Once one makes the decision to cover the floor of one's Parisian apartment with red velvet carpeting, it must be hard to know where to stop. The red velvet just looks so great on the floor there, wouldn't it also look great on the walls? And why stop at the walls? Why have an apartment where any surface (except the fireplace, of course—you got to keep that fireplace free) is untouched by red velvet? That, we have to assume, was the thought process behind this French apartment, currently asking €3 million (or, $3.33 million). If anyone else has a better explanation, please let us know.
