Finally, Proof That Cyclists Are Above Everyone Else

San Francisco is considering adding raised bike lanes like the one that is being tested out on Valencia Street in the Mission District. The raised lanes would provide a built-in buffer from cars, increase visibility for cyclists, take up less space than a regular bike lane, and, most importantly, provide bike riders with confirmation of the very thing they've suspected all along: that they are above all those jerks in their cars. Two inches above, to be exact.
