"The funny thing about this whole house," Geraldo Rivera's wife explains during a 2010 video tour, "is that Geraldo designed it 10 years ago to be his bachelor pad." That might be a funny thing about this house, but it's hardly the funny thing about this house, really a main house, guest house, and garage (where Geraldo hangs his painting of famous people he's interviewed) on the Edgewater, New Jersey waterfront, overlooking the Hudson River. The funny thing is probably the couch. "In keeping with the nautical theme, all the furniture here was designed by ships' carpenters," Geraldo explains. Hm.
The house is currently listed for $3.75 million now that Geraldo has bought a much more staid apartment on Manhattan's Upper East Side.
