Washington's Ski to Sea Adventure Race may have lacked snow and didn't end at the sea, but participants still enjoyed themselves this past weekend. The lack of snowfall this winter meant that the cross country leg of the race, normally the first of seven legs, was cancelled in favor of a mountain biking leg at the end. The canoe leg of the race was also made difficult by a low-flowing Nooksack River.
