A Midcentury Home in Australia Gets a Super Fun Renovation

Further evidence that the world is obsessed with midcentury modern design: this lovely updated 1960's home in Beaumaris, a suburb of Melbourne, Australia. Midcentury design aficionados Annie Price and Jamie Paterson purchased the badly worn house almost four years ago, and has spent most of the time since then renovating and restoring the place with help from Australian architect Adrian Bonomi. Stripped away of wacky add-ons and topped with a new roof, the space sure has its groove back. It now flaunts original beams, handrails, and a round coffee table that came with house, along with attention-grabbing new details like 60's wall tiles for the kitchen and a series of vintage wallpaper with the loudest patterns.
