Madrid-based studio A2arquitectos has given children in the city of Porto Cristo, on the Spanish isle of Mallorca, a dream playground that includes a kaleidoscope you can step into. Dozens of mirrored hexagonal panels bring in sunlight and reflect and refract the delight of local kids. The kaleidoscope isn't the only attraction at the playground: another area calls to mind a Yayoi Kusama exhibition, painted as it is in hot pink and accented with giant white polka-dots.
