This adorable abode was built in 1640, long before there was a United States or a Commonwealth of Massachusetts and just a year after the town of Barnstable was incorporated as part of Plymouth Colony. The original owner sold it to Samuel Hinckley, apparently an ancestor of Meet Mulberry Cottage, the oldest house for sale on Cape Cod.
