Canadian Couple Fights Off 30-Pound Rat to Build Floating Dr. Seuss Village

New, 1 comment

This "self-sufficient food garden complex," built off the coast of Vancouver Island in British Columbia over a period of two decades by husband and wife Wayne Adams and Katherine King, looks like something out of a children's book. And like any good children's book, there was a monstrous villain that they had to overcome to be able to live there. Adams and King told Oddity Central that they have had to deal with "a 30-pound rat" that "gnaw[s] at the foundations of their floating home." That must be why more people don't live on floating garden complexes, because other than that minor drawback, it looks pretty amazing.
