Calling all awesome, snow-loving mamas: bust out your skis or snowboard one more time this weekend because Sunday is looking like a legitimate powder day. Although Arapahoe Basin might be the only ski area open in Colorado at the moment, there should be plenty of snow as light to moderate snow will fall Friday night and Saturday. Then, the main event will hit Saturday night with anywhere from 10 inches to 18 inches above 10,000 feet. Curbed Ski almost always has a good powder day in May in Colorado, and this looks to be the one! Head over to Open Snow for the updated forecast. And remember, Curbediverse, with all the rain in Colorado recently, and the possibility of wet, heavy snow on top, the avalanche danger will be ramping up with this storm. Ski safe!
