Michael "Mike D" Diamond, one third of the Beastie Boys, has, in recent years, turned his attention to renovating and designing townhouses in Brooklyn. He's even gone so far as to design his own wallpaper, and prompted a glowing writeup in the New York Times in 2013 on his redesign of his own house in the Cobble Hill neighborhood. And, as Gothamist points out, at some point since then a couple that operates a Tumblr of pictures of them having sex used that house as the backdrop for one of their tastefully hardcore porn shoots. They shot in multiple rooms, and it is very clearly the same house, down to the art and decorating. Obviously, this raises a lot of questions. Did Mike D give permission for this couple to be in his house? Did they just rent it on Airbnb? Does Mike D list his house on Airbnb? If he does, is he going to stop now? (Probably.) It's a sexy, sexy real estate mystery.
