Already missing the snow and looking for a trip down south to catch some powder? Consider heading to Argentina, where the Vines Resort and Spa has partnered with heli-ski operator Powder South to offer a wine and backcountry skiing vacation. Beginning in July, guests can stay in a high-end wine villa surrounded by 1,500 acres of vineyards only a short 10 minute helicopter flight away from epic powder in the Andes mountains. This vast mountain range has peaks topping out at 22,000 feet and guests have access to some serious vertical; you'll be skiing at elevations from 8,250 feet to almost 15,000 feet. The 3-day heli-ski packages start at $7,500 while the week-long packages start at $10,500, but all vacations come with guides, helicopter time, lodging and food, ground transportation and all necessary equipment. And don't think you'll be roughing it in the Southern Hemisphere. Guests at the Vines Resort kick back in one or two-bedroom villas, a huge main lodge, an infinity pool and hot tub, private spa, and restaurant, all with access to a top-notch winery.
