The White Room, the latest venture from Australian interior designer and hospitality entrepreneur Lynda Gardener may be the most sublime garage conversion yet, not to mention a super hip rental to keep in mind for a future trip to Melbourne. The studio apartment, which includes a kitchenette and separate bathroom with a shower, is filled with one-off vintage furniture, industrial lighting, artworks, and lots of pure French linen. And thanks to a private courtyard right outside a set of French doors, the whole space also feels a lot like an airy Scandi dream.
