Giant Pigeons a Surprisingly Nice Addition to City Streets

New, 2 comments

We all complain about pigeons from time to time. They're like winged rats, and instead of spending their time in the air or perched in trees like other, sensible birds, they prefer to waddle around on the ground eating garbage, or get trapped in subway stations and freak everybody out. Also, it always seems like they're just looking for some excuse to poop on you.

All that said, one would think that giant pigeon murals would be an unwelcome addition to most city streets, but these ones by Dutch street artist Stefan "Super A" Thelen are actually really beautiful. The message here is that pigeons can only be improved by growing to enormous sizes and also being two dimensional and not moving.
