Beer ads may want you to be 'bold,' but when it comes to architecture, breweries rarely put their money where their mouths are. Not so with this brewery that sits in an old police station in Córdoba, Spain. Designed by the firm Bar Makers, the architects stripped away the exterior to reveal dramatic concrete and brick walls, including a soaring 16-foot-high archway entrance. The interior design balances that industrial grittiness with modern steel furniture, custom windows, and bright red colors. And a roof terrace, outfitted with its own bar, means you can literally drink into the night.
