In honor of this Chappaquiddick listing's third anniversary on the market, a classic PriceUpper has raised the ask by a cool $600K. Lucky for us, the place is still a stunner. When we last wrote about the one-time PriceSpotter, the 5.2 acre property on the tip of John Oliver Point was hoping for $7,900,000, having debuted in June 2012 for $9,500,000 and quickly lowered its expectations down to $8,500,000 just a few short months later. As of today, Chappy's 1 North Neck Road can once again be had for $8,500,000. To refresh, the tricked-out spread includes 6BR, 5.5BA with a year-round, architect-designed post & beam main house, a guest house, private beach, several watercraft, and a mooring. The brokerbabble isn't shy, claiming "the biggest and best water views from any home on Martha's Vineyard" with 360-degree views of proof by way of "twinkling lights of the mainland and ships far out at sea, lighthouses from Cape Cod, Nantucket, Oak Bluffs, Cape Poge, and Edgartown." Not to be outdone, there are even bragging rights for the sporty/locavore/pescatarian gazillionaire with "fishing and clamming on this site... among the best on the Eastern seaboard." No doubt, but will the new/old price tag lure in a whale of a buyer?
