The number one thought that everybody has while traveling on an airplane is: this is is nice, but there just aren't enough people crammed in here. But now all that could be about to change (patent approval permitting), as a new design from Zodiac Seat France would...well, it's probably a lot easier for you to just look at the above diagram than for us to explain it. Suffice to say, it looks like it involves a lot of touching.
There's also a non-touching version, which is somehow even scarier, and looks like something out of Snowpiercer.
