How Would You Like to Live in a Giant Tube in the Ocean?

This conceptual model for a partially underwater city, called "Vertical City," comes courtesy of Luca Curci Architects of Italy, and we can't say it doesn't look enticing. The tower would be connected to the mainland via an underwater tunnel, and would be partially open to the elements with large hexagonal windows. It seems you'd probably have to deal with birds coming and flying around all the time, but besides that, it's pretty neat.
