Designed by PATH Architecture, the Laurelhurst Studio was designed with versatility in mind: thanks to a large common area, it can serve as an artists' workroom, guest bedroom, yoga studio, or full-time apartment. Located above a garage and adjacent a main house, it has a wood-line interior that looks eastward to a tree-lined backyard equipped with a fire pit, outdoor kitchen, and in-ground spa. And if that didn't make it enticing enough, the architect describes how "dappled morning light floods the space in the early hours of the day, and as the sun moves overhead, light is reflected throughout the space from the private, outdoor spa below."
