This Fancy Little House in a Los Angeles Mews Is For Sale

New, 1 comment

The Atwater Village complex in L.A. known as The Mews has nothing to do with cats, sadly. Rather, it is a collection of 23 eco-conscious detached houses designed by Corsini Stark Architects and built in 2010 just a few blocks away from North Atwater Park. The little house up for sale holds three bedrooms and three bathrooms, including an "extra large" master bedroom with custom closets, says the broker's website. All the bedrooms are upstairs and have views of Griffith Park; downstairs, retractable glass walls create "the only fully private courtyard in the complex." The kitchen is furnished with Carrara marble counters and fancy stainless steel appliances. There are also solar panels on the roof (eco-friendly, remember?). Sold in 2011 for $610,000, the 1,658-square-foot residence is now listed for $799,000.
