Here's something we don't see very often in the wild, wild world of shipping container structures: a container not set flat but balanced at a scary angle, looking like something out of surreal architectural visualizations. The glassy lopsided container shown here is all real life though and seems pretty functional. It serves as a staircase for a new shipping container office and events space designed by local studio Potash Architects for the Port of Ashdod, about 25 miles south of Tel Aviv.
