New High-Tech Maps of the Outdoors Will Change Everything

Forget those pesky paper maps. A new company named Natural Atlas is creating what Outside Magazine calls a ""live" archive of crowdsourced maps built by the people who are actually using the trails." The project is a mix between Wikipedia and Google Street View, and for about $30 per year users can download the digital maps that are specifically for the outdoors and geared towards all kinds of adventure sports.
