Saddleback Ski Area in Maine Needs $3M to Stay Open

A treasured ski area in Maine needs to find $3 million in the next two weeks in order to open for the 2015-2016 ski season. In a press release, owners of Saddleback ski area say that the resort needs a new four-person chairlift to replace the aging 51-year-old Rangeley double chair. The double chair is one of four lifts on the mountain, and the resort must order the new lift by early August if it wants to open its doors this winter.
