Canadian Ski Hill Expansion May Threaten Caribou

If Canada's Marmot Basin ski area in Jasper National Park expands its boundaries, a report states that this development would threaten a nearby caribou herd. The study was conducted at the request of the ski hill's operators to see how a potential expansion would effect a caribou herd that has recently seen its numbers drop to fewer than 50 animals from 111 in 2006.
