From treehouses to yurts, reconnecting with nature is all about simplicity. And whether you're at the beach or in the forest, it doesn't get much simpler than the Cocoon Tree, an $8,000 hanging shelter. Nearly 10 feet in diameter and accessed by rope ladders or wooden walkways, each Cocoon Tree is constructed in Vietnam and shipped to your locale. Although you can't do much more than sleep in the nest-like hamster ball, the sphere has enough room for two adults and (allegedly) two small children on a "high quality mattress."
