Seattle Writer's Rustic Island Retreat Available For $1.39M

When you think of crime and horror, think of this 4,076 square-foot Lopez Island estate. Perhaps we should explain that. The four-bedroom waterfront property, known as Sea Oaks, was put on the market by author John Saul, best known for a series of thrillers and horror novels. Built on the edge of a cliff, the property actually sits on a 3.11-acre gated lot and includes two 2-BR homes, as well as garages, a carport, an RV port that could be converted into yet another bedroom, and a workshop/studio. Both structures feature rustic wood and take full advantage of the view. Asking $1.399M, the property was the birthplace of many bestsellers. Perhaps you'll write the next one?
