Feast Your Eyes on Falmouth's New Most Expensive Listing

New, 2 comments

Falmouth has a new pricey listing with a price tag high enough to make it the fourth most expensive Cape Cod house on the market right now. If the Woods Hole estate looks familiar, you've got a good memory.

Built in 1900, the Colonial Revival known as "Seven Winds" is located on Penzance Point, "one of the most exclusive summer communities on Cape Cod." Once owned by Nobel Prize winner Albert Szent Gyorgyi, the man credited with discovering Vitamin C, the 1.47 acre property is a "short walk to vibrant Woods Hole" and features 7BR, 6.5BA in 8,208sf with gorgeous views of Buzzards Bay. In addition to the move-in ready main residence there's a guest house, a sandy beach, and a "deep-water pier on sheltered Great Harbor." Back in 2012, the former PriceSpotter was asking for a hefty $14,850,000, but went off the market when a buyer did not appear. This week, the classic estate has retuned for a slightly less ambitious, yet still very pricey $13,900,000.
