Stunning Irving Gill Townhouse in Los Angeles Asks $2.6M

About a block away from the sandy beaches of Santa Monica, this fantastic two-bedroom townhouse is looking for its first new owner in more than three decades. Built in 1919, the building was designed by architect Irving Gill, the man whose West Hollywood Dodge House (demolished in 1970) is credited with flipping the script on the classic pitched-roof house, and whose work inspired Modernist masters like Rudolph Schindler and Richard Neutra. The salt air has agreed with this place, and it's aged more gracefully than Helen Mirren.
