Tour a Chic, Compact 645-Square-Foot Apartment in Milan

New, 2 comments

Formerly a small dental office, this two story space was transformed by architecture firm +R Piuerre into the suave living space seen here. Titled CPR—we're guessing something was lost in translation from Italian—the project is unified by a sleek spiral stair and a neutral color palette accented by teal, yellow, and black. A translucent polycarbonate panel in the bedroom helps sunlight filter down into the living areas below. Lovingly detailed surfaces unify several rooms: in the office, a steel railing darts across the floor, desk, and wall, while a yellow countertop that flows through the kitchen.
