Even in Texas, there are barely enough superlatives to put the sale of the massive W.T. Waggoner Estate Ranch in context. On the market for a princely sum of $725 million, according to Bloomberg, the parcel stretches over 510,527 acres (800 square miles), an area bigger than LA and New York combined. And it comes with plenty of history, too. Founded in 1849, it's the home of a famous Texas family that made a fortune in oil and livestock, known for its reverse-triple-D branded cattle.
