Even in Texas, there are barely enough superlatives to put the sale of the massive W.T. Waggoner Estate Ranch in context. On the market for a princely sum of $725 million, according to Bloomberg, the parcel stretches over 510,527 acres (800 square miles), an area bigger than LA and New York combined. And it comes with plenty of history, too. Founded in 1849, it's the home of a famous Texas family that made a fortune in oil and livestock, known for its reverse-triple-D branded cattle.

As the colorful family has expanded and developed the ranch over the decades, all manner of buildings and businesses have been added to the property. Any new owner would pick up:

・1,000 oil wells
・6,800 head of cattle
・30,000 acres of cropland
・An old rodeo corral
・A 1998 Masterpiece mobile home
・Art Deco office building made from marble
・Polo barn
・Three lakes
・A painting of the stallion Poco Bueno, an inductee into the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame
