Squaw Valley Releases Another Video on the Proposed Gondola

A few months ago, Lake Tahoe's Squaw Valley announced plans for a new base-to-base gondola connecting Squaw and its neighboring resort Alpine Meadows. And while Squaw Valley is certainly no stranger to controversy (just ask anyone about the Squaw Base Village or about Incorporate Olympic Valley), the latest debate on the gondola has been fierce. Now, Squaw Valley has released a new video asking for support.

As you can see, the short video doesn't say much, besides revealing that about 2,000 people have signed up for info on the project. Obviously, Squaw Valley Ski CEO Andy Wirth is looking to garner more support.

A recent Curbed Ski poll found that skiers and snowboarders are divided on whether or not the proposed gondola is a good or bad thing. Head over here for a full explanation.
