Big news for the nomadic raiders who have been waiting patiently to invade China since the Great Wall was construction in 300 B.C. The Great Wall of China Society reports that 30 percent of the original structure is gone and the rest is in pretty bad shape, a result of nearby villagers looting stones to sell to tourists, general neglect, and the fact that it's a 2,300-year-old wall and nature tends to erode things over time.
