Vail Home Wants $7.4 Million for Retro Luxury

This 7,325-square-foot home asking $7.4 million in Vail's Potato Patch neighborhood was built in 1992, and it wears its era like a badge of honor. The five-bedroom, six-and-a-half bath pad is being sold completely furnished, thank god. You'd be absolutely crazy to buy it without the printed tub chairs or the bright, cherry-red leather recliners. The blown glass art on glass shelves better be staying, too. All the high-gloss light wood and the stone and stainless steel fireplace wouldn't look right without it. Even if the new owner — heaven forbid — wants to renovate, we still will have that striking, curved white facade.
