House From Silence of the Lambs Wants $300K, Basement Dungeon Not Included

New, 1 comment

The Western Pennsylvania house that served as serial killer Buffalo Bill's home/prison/workshop/moth incubator in the classic movie Silence of the Lambs is on the market for $300,000, though unfortunately the place does not actually include a dry well in the basement where you can hold your victims prisoner while softening their skin for your woman-skin suit, so if the new buyers want to make it place the lotion in the basket they're on their own.

Though the house's history (albeit fictional) could potentially be creepy and off-putting to some prospective buyers, it will surely be enticing to others, and the listing agents are really leaning into it, captioning one photo "remember Agent Starling walking into this home?"
