If you are an evil scientist looking to decorate your underground laboratory, we've found the perfect lamps for you. Unfortunately, the "photosynthetic furniture," currently on display in an exhibit called Living Things at the Mattress Factory Museum of Contemporary Art in Pittsburgh, isn't available for purchase yet, but since you're an evil scientist, you can probably figure out how to make some yourself. The pieces are made with spirulina algae, which is also being hailed as a superfood. It doesn't look all that appetizing, but it definitely makes for some very cool lighting fixtures.
