In April, Dole Food President & COO Michael Carter announced he would be retiring. Considering the company had revenues of $6.9 billion in 2010, you had to figure he was living pretty well. $25 million-dollars well, it turns out, as Carter has listed the 5-BR house on a 21-acre estate he has lived at since completing in 2013. Dubbed Eagle's Nest (natch), the property was a 16-year labor of love. Carter originally built a 1,000 square-foot guest house & carriage house on the property in 2002 while he waited for the manor home to be completed. Eleven years later, he moved in 19,676 square-foot mansion which includes five bedroom suites, one master with it's own private laundry, theater room, wine cellar and guest apartment with its own kitchen and entrance.
