Maher-Designed Prairie School Masterpiece Lists in Chicago

Here's a truly special home that is up for grabs in the Kenwood neighborhood's historic core. Built in 1908, this 6,550 square foot home was designed by the noted Prairie School architect George W. Maher and has been lovingly restored. Known as the Ernst J. Magerstadt House, the home has just hit the market and is asking $2.595 million. While the price might be rich for the area, the home is certainly no lightweight on size and architectural detail.
