Famous foul-mouthed Scottish chef Gordon Ramsay, known for his expletives and expansive wealth, just purchased a country home in the village of Rock, located on the southwest coast of England in Cornwall. According to The Sun, the five-bed seaside cottage, which includes a 1.3-acre garden and private beach, cost 4.4 million pounds (~$6.8 million), the most expensive sale in the area this year and second most expensive on record. The only potential downside, perhaps, is that the home has a very tiny kitchen. However, while it limits one's ability to throw things, it does make for easier cleanup, so it may be a win-win.
Ramsay also owns a home in Los Angeles and a London pad worth $15.6 million. One resident told The Sun that "the sort of people that move here aren't helping the community much. I'm not a fan of Gordon, or of swearing." The sale was completed in June; we'll update with additional photos when we find them.
