This Japanese Cafe Looks Like an Actual Nightmare

New, 1 comment

Kawaii "is the quality of cuteness in the context of Japanese culture," according to Wikipedia, a description that calls to mind Hello Kitty and other similarly adorable cartoons. But apparently it can also manifest itself in a cafe that looks like a place that you would find yourself in during a literal nightmare, as this cafe's designer, Sebastian Masuda, is "the king" of kawaii culture, according to Spoon & Tamago. Which is not to say that we wouldn't really like to go there, and also try whatever that food is that they're serving. We're just also saying that this would be a bad place to take acid, because you wouldn't even be able to tell if it was working or not.
