A Surprisingly Hip and Homey Office for a Venture Capital Firm

The words "VC firm" can conjure images of dreadful boardrooms where fledgling startups are made or squashed, but this one located in Los Angeles' Arts District defies those notions. The space, which the company just moved into eight months ago, was spruced up by interior design studio Consort and features works by local artists, midcentury furnishings, vintage industrial lighting, and an open kitchen—an assortment that certainly overlaps a bit with these hotly debated and potentially overexposed home decor trends.
