Telluride has managed to expand its air reach even further for the upcoming ski season, adding new flights from multiple hubs to the Montrose Regional Airport. Telluride will have 14 direct flights coming from 11 major hubs into Montrose, which is about an hour-and-a-half drive to the town. Included in the new air service are flights from New York-La Guardia, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Las Vegas. Routes from Dallas-Ft. Worth and Phoenix will see bumps, as well.
Last season, Telluride increased flights from Dallas-Ft. Worth and New York/Newark while adding service from Phoenix, which led to a record number of passengers. Dallas-Ft. Worth and Phoenix will see another service bump this winter, along with continued flights from Denver, Houston, San Francisco and Atlanta.
