When it comes to houses that are perfect for serious art collectors, you can be sure to expect grand gallery-like spaces with lofty walls and overflowing windows promising the best natural light. The Teiger House, named for its owner David Teiger—a passionate collector and art patron who passed away just last December—is, unsurprisingly, the pinnacle of that style. On the market for the first time since it was completed in 1996 by L.A.-based firm Roto Architects (in close collaboration with Teiger himself), the 6,400-square-foot estate clad in stone, stucco, and ipe wood flows out from a central living area at the corner of its L-shaped design.

The well-lit interiors are accented by natural materials like fieldstone (mined from the site and used in the fireplace), teak wood, and Indian Yukon Silver limestone. Sitting on a lush and hilly 11.4 acres, the $5.195M villa comes complete with an outdoor pool, spa, and guesthouse.
