Taos Ski Valley is increasing its minimum wage to $10 per hour, following similar moves by Vail Resorts and Mt. Rose. This makes Taos the latest resort operator to bump starting pay in an effort to be more competitive. Taos employs hundreds of people during ski season, according to a news release, making it one of the largest private employers in New Mexico. For anyone interested in taking advantage of the wage hike, Taos Ski Valley is having a job fair Sept. 25.
