Not to be outdone by Botswana's gorgeous eco-resort, Spain just opened a rad new sustainable luxury resort in the scenic Guadalest Valley. Named Vivood Landscape Hotel, the adults-only complex includes 25 glass-walled suites. Some are tucked into a ridge. Others are wrapped around a bend, with views of undulating valleys in the front and a towering rock face for a backdrop.
The roughly 88-square-foot units, each featuring its own sunken jacuzzis and precarious terraces, feel earthy and serene with white walls, grey ceramic floors, and ample natural light. Venture out a little and you'll also find the requisite restaurant, lounge bar, and infinity pool.
