Famed Animator Miyazaki Is Building a Nature Park For Kids Called 'The Forest Where the Wind Will Return'

In a story that will warm even the coldest of hearts, Hayao Miyazaki, creator of such films as Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, and Howl's Moving Castle, has announced that he will invest 300 million yen ($2.5 million) of his own money to build a nature park for children on Kume Island in Okinawa, Japan. The park will be called "The Forest Where the Wind Returns," and will feature no man-made play equipment, instead arranging trees, boulders, and the landscape into a natural playground.
