Not every winter destination has turned the ski lease into the institution it is in the Lake Tahoe area, but it's still a great idea to throw in with family or friends and spend more time getting turns this season and less time commuting or hunting for lodging. Luckily, there are still some choice properties available for rent this ski season. To give you an idea of what's out there, we at Curbed Ski put together a list of 5 homes you can still rent in ski country.


630 W Hallam St, Aspen: This two-bedroom, two-bath duplex in Aspen makes great use of its open floor plan and outdoor space. It might be chilly on that deck in winter, but there's a fire pit to help you brave it. It can be yours for $6,500 per month.


205 Woodside Ave, Park City: In the heart of Park City, this three-bedroom, 2.25-bath home is close to all the action. It has plenty of space, a two-car garage and even a hot tub. All for $4,000 per month.


495 Water Dance Ct, Frisco: This five-bedroom, 4.5-bath home on the edge of Lake Dillon is nicely situated in Summit County, with short drives to Breckenridge, Copper Mountain and Keystone. This 2,768-square-foot home can be yours for the season for $4,500 per month.


2774 Rest Haven Dr, Whitefish: This stylish home on Whitefish Lake comes complete with a spiral staircase to its main living area and spacious kitchen. With three bedrooms and three baths, there's room for friends and a wet bar to get the party started. Book it for $2,000 per month.


1352 Ottawa Dr, South Lake Tahoe: This 3,452-square-foot, four-bedroom, three-bath home has plenty of room along with a central location. Walk to snowmobile trails or take your pick of driving to Kirkwood, Sierra-at-Tahoe or Heavenly. After a day on the slopes, chow down in the gourmet kitchen, play a game of pool or relax in the airy family and living rooms. Pony up $3,200 per month to make it yours.
